CMT Awards

Steven leaves me alone for 20 minutes and I find the Country Music Awards! For a prego who loves country music this can either be really good or really bad. Of course, it was both.

As soon as i put it on, Tim and Faith are there singing "I need you." I LOVE this song. Seeing them sing it to each other in person sitting knee to knee, knowing they are married...ahhhhhh! It gives me goosebumps. It's the closest i come to understanding drug addiction (like a needle needs a vein). Besides being in love with the song, i'm actually in love with them, too. They are such a beautiful couple and i kinda think of them as "our couple." They sing Steven and my's song "It's Your Love" and my girl name actually came from one of their girls:) So in my made up world we are connected.

There's one point during the song where Faith is looking down as she's singing. WTH? She's supposed to be looking into the eyes of the man she lives for. So, instead of enjoying the music, i start thinking about how something might be wrong and how much i'll cry if they ever break up. So...i tear up thinking about them breaking up. Jeez. And i'm not usually a celeb-freak.

Commercials save me and i go back over to 40 Year Old Virgin-which sucks on network tv-too many curse words. But i have to go back because i hear that Snoop Dogg is there. Sweet!

I've always said i'd like to meet Snoop. He just seems like the coolest person ever. And now, it's official. He's a presenter at the CMT Awards and appeared to be having fun. He is officially the coolest mutha' f'er on the planet.
