Birthday Celebrations

Had a pretty good birthday weekend. Friday we ate at a new sushi place. Steven and CLyde aren't scared of wasabi*.

Saturday morning we went to LASM and the planetarium to watch Legend of the Dragon. I'd like to go back to watch an adult show. No, not porn, a Led Zepplin show or something.
There were 2 kids rooms so we let the kids play a while. Well, we played too. Here's a million leslies in the reflections.


Saturday night we ate at Bravo's which was pretty good, but the Funny Bone was the best. John Morgan was there and he is great. He's like a Louisiana Preacher...you gotta see it. Excellent show, even for the sober girl.

When we got back i took some random belly shots.

I got exactly what i wanted from Steven-Love Actually. My bootlegged copy was too scratched to watch so now i'm legal:)

Here's the story: One day during my ramblings i told them about this weird chicken alarm clock that sang, "Hey Baby Wake Up, Come and Dance With Me." My grandma's friend brought it to her house and once my Dad saw it he started singing this to me to wake up in the morning. He'd also change the words, too... "Hey Baby Wake Up, It's Time To Go To School."

Mom, do you remember this thing? It was Mary Ellen's but she was terrified of it...i guess that's why Ms Oria brought it to grandmas.

Anyway, apparently now it's a collector's item. Some of the new-in-box ones on ebay go for 100 bucks or more! Pretty crazy.
