While waiting for Steven, i got a shot of the cake table and our presents.
Ms Faye made a delicious cake. These booties have spots underneath to write the birthday and size of the baby at birth.
SURPRISE! This is shot #2. When he walked past the window and saw everyone, he turned around and walked out. (He loves surprises.)
He was definitely surprised...he made lunch plans with Jared. He was waiting outside in the car. Here's Ms Faye putting on the booty boutonniere while Steven tries to call Jared:)
Wouldn't wear the football on his shirt, but he'll wear baby booties. Nina, i guess he's more afraid of Ms Faye:)

All Steven wanted from our registry was the Twilight Turtle. He was so sad that we didn't get it yet. I already knew Nina got it for him. Look how happy that face is:
Seriously, he loves this thing so much that he took it with us to the Summerhouse this weekend. This thing will never see the nursery.

Speaking of great workplaces...when i got to work this morning there were 2 cards on my desk-a birthday card and a baby card with a *hefty* Babies R Us gift card. It was so unexpected and generous!

Bronwen loves her Twilight Turtle. She brings it into our closet and then pushes all the buttons to make it change colors.
I tried to put it on when she was a baby, but the stars were distracting. Maybe when she's a little older!
So sad that global warmin' is so bad that children are forced to depend on fake stars.
